1. Egyptian passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Malawi, with at least two blank pages
2. Recent digital colour passport photo meeting the portal's specifications
3. Scanned copy of the passport data page
4. Letter from the Egyptian employer stating the traveller's name, job title, type of work, purpose and duration of the visit, and confirming that accommodation costs are covered
5. Invitation letter from a company or business entity in Malawi (mentioned in secondary sources, and to be confirmed on the portal)
6. Confirmed return flight booking
7. Visa or Mastercard credit card to pay fees online
8. Yellow fever vaccination certificate when arriving from an infected country (subject to verification)

1. Create an account on the official Malawi Immigration Department e-visa portal: https://www.evisa.gov.mw/
2. Select Business visa and entry type (single or multiple), then complete the online form using the same details as the passport
3. Upload the photo, passport copy, employer letter, invitation letter, and other required documents
4. Pay the visa fee and service fee online by Visa or Mastercard (fees are non-refundable, even if the application is rejected)
5. Wait for approval, then download and print the e-visa and carry it when travelling to present at immigration control
6. In case of a problem or delay, contact the Embassy of Malawi in Cairo for assistance (according to the Malawi Tourism Authority website, the embassy is not currently issuing visas)
