1. Egyptian passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry, with at least two blank pages.
2. Recent passport photo, 4×6 cm, white background, with the face clearly visible from the front and no glasses, in JPG format for the electronic application.
3. Clear colored JPG image of the full passport data page, showing the MRZ lines at the bottom of the page.
4. English invitation letter from the Vietnamese host company on its official letterhead, stating the company name, address and registration number, the purpose of the visit, its dates, and the contact person's details.
5. Vietnamese Immigration Approval Letter issued by the Immigration Department at the request of the Vietnamese company, required when applying through the embassy for a DN business visa.
6. For employees: HR letter in English, stamped and recent (no older than one month), stating the job title, date of hiring, salary, approval of the trip, and the purpose of the mission.
7. For business owners: recent commercial register (no older than 3 months) and tax card, with certified English translation.
8. Egyptian bank statement for the last 6 months, sealed by the bank, preferably accompanied by a balance certificate in English (a supporting document recommended by the agency).
9. Confirmed hotel booking or address of stay in Vietnam (entering the address in the electronic application is mandatory).
10. Round-trip flight booking, specifying the entry and exit gateways (Hanoi Noi Bai Airport, Ho Chi Minh City Tan Son Nhat Airport, or Da Nang).
11. Travel medical insurance covering the entire stay, with coverage of at least $30,000 recommended (not officially mandatory but strongly recommended).
12. Active email address to receive the application code and visa, and an international credit or debit card to pay the fees online.

1. Determine the application route: for short visits (meetings, exhibitions, negotiations), the best option is the e-visa through the sole official website, evisa.gov.vn. For those sponsored by a Vietnamese company for a DN1/DN2 business visa, the company must first request an immigration approval letter.
2. E-visa: fill in the form in English with exactly the same name and details as in the passport, selecting the purpose (Business), entry type (single or multiple), validity dates, entry and exit gateways, address of stay, and the host company's details.
3. Upload the passport copy and personal photo, then pay the fee electronically by card, and keep the application code (Registration Code).
4. Check the application status on the same website after 3 working days; upon approval, download the visa in PDF format and print it in color, in two copies.
5. Embassy route (if needed): after the approval letter is issued, apply at the Vietnamese Embassy in Cairo (Dokki district) with the original passport, the form, the photo and the approval letter. No biometrics are required, and collection from the embassy takes place after the fee is paid.
6. Embassy alternative: a visa on arrival can only be obtained if the approval letter was issued specifically for that purpose, with fees paid in cash in US dollars at the airport.
7. When travelling: present the passport with the printed visa copy at the designated entry gateway, carrying the invitation letter, hotel booking, and return ticket.
