How to apply from Egypt
- Pre-register on the Special Branch portal at https://voa.specialbranch.gov.bd, enter traveller details and upload documents
- Save the tracking number and print the acknowledgement receipt
- On arrival at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (Dhaka): pay the fee in cash at the Sonali Bank counter and obtain a receipt
- Join the VOA queue with the printed receipt and passport
- Guaranteed alternative: apply in advance for a tourist visa at the Embassy of Bangladesh in Cairo (https://cairo.mofa.gov.bd) after completing the online form at visa.gov.bd
