Documents required
- Completed and signed visa application form (Form No. 17)
- Passport valid for at least 6 months from the travel date, with at least two blank pages, plus a copy of the data page
- Recent passport photo measuring 3.5×4.5 cm with a white background, taken within the last 6 months
- Stamped bank statement for the last 6 months, with a balance of at least approx. 5,000 US dollars or its equivalent in Egyptian pounds (unconfirmed)
- Letter from the employer in English stating the job title, salary and approved leave, or a commercial register and tax card for business owners
- Round-trip flight booking

How to apply from Egypt
- Prepare the documents and complete the application form
- Submit in person at the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Cairo: 3 Boulos Hanna Street, Dokki, Giza (Sunday–Thursday, 9 a.m.–12 noon according to a secondary source, unconfirmed). There is no KVAC centre in Egypt
- Pay the visa fee when submitting the application
- Follow up on the application and collect the passport from the embassy after a decision is made
