1. Passport valid for at least 3 months after return with at least two blank pages, along with old passports and previous visas
2. Signed visa application form
3. Two recent photos (35x45 mm) with a white background
4. Invitation letter from the host company in the Schengen country (stating purpose, dates, and party covering costs) along with company registration details
5. Employment letter from the Egyptian employer (position, salary, purpose of mission, travel approval) on official company letterhead and stamped
6. Commercial register and tax card of the Egyptian company (translated)
7. Stamped personal bank statement for the last 6 months + company bank statement if covering expenses
8. Travel medical insurance of at least 30,000 EUR
9. Tentative flight and hotel reservations
10. Proof of business relations (contracts, invoices, correspondence) or exhibition/conference registration, if applicable
11. Copy of National ID card
12. Movement certificate from the Mogamma for first-time travelers or those without passports covering the last 7 years
13. Hotel booking must be confirmed — reservations from Booking.com and similar platforms are not accepted
14. The invitation letter must be submitted with the application by the traveler in person and not sent directly to the embassy beforehand
15. Arabic documents must be translated into English or German

1. Apply through the VFS Global Austria Visa Application Centre in Cairo (pre-book an appointment at visa.vfsglobal.com/egy/en/aut)
2. Complete the application form (German-Arabic or German-English) and sign it
3. Attend the appointment for biometric data collection, submit original documents, and pay the visa fee (approx. 5,490 EGP = 90€) plus the VFS service fee (2,011 EGP)
4. Applications cannot be submitted more than 3 months before the travel date
5. Track the application and collect the passport from the centre
