Documents required
- Visa application form filled in online via visa.gov.bd, printed and signed (select the option for the Cairo embassy)
- Original passport valid for at least 6 months with two blank pages
- Copy of the passport data page
- Recent coloured personal photos with white background (45×35 mm; 2 or 3 copies depending on the mission – to be confirmed with the embassy)
- Invitation letter from the host company in Bangladesh addressed to the embassy, stating the purpose and duration (preferably attached with the trade license and tax certificate)
- Letter from the applicant's company in Egypt stating the job position, purpose of the visit and that it bears the expenses
- Commercial register/tax card of the Egyptian company (required at other missions – to be confirmed with Cairo)
- Flight booking and hotel booking (required at some missions – to be confirmed with Cairo)
- Receipt of fee payment according to the embassy's instructions
How to apply from Egypt
- Fill in the visa application online at visa.gov.bd, selecting the Cairo embassy, then print and sign it
- Review the Business Visa page and the fees page on cairo.mofa.gov.bd, and pay the fees according to the embassy's instructions (bank account details are on the Bank Details page)
- Book a visa appointment via the Book an Appointment – Visa service on the embassy website, if available
- Submit the passport and documents to the embassy (Maadi, Cairo) and track the status via Check Status – Visa
