Documents required
- Passport valid for at least 6 months from the travel date, plus any old passports

- Preliminary itinerary and flight and hotel bookings
- Certified English or French translation of any document in Arabic
How to apply from Egypt
- Create an IRCC account, apply online at canada.ca, and pay the visa and biometrics fee (CAD 185)
- Receive the biometrics instruction letter (BIL) and book an appointment at the VFS Global Canada visa centre in Cairo
- Give your biometrics and photo at the centre
- Wait for a decision, then send your passport via VFS for visa placement and collect it from the centre
