Documents required

  1. Passport valid for at least 3 months beyond the return date, with two blank pages, along with old passports and previous visas
  2. Signed visa application form
  3. Two recent 35×45 mm photos with a white background
  4. Invitation letter from the host company in a Schengen country (purpose, dates, and who bears the costs), with the company's registration details
  5. Letter from the Egyptian employer (job title, salary, purpose of the mission, approval of travel) on company letterhead and stamped
  6. Commercial register and tax card of the Egyptian company (translated)
  7. Personal bank statement for the last 6 months, stamped, plus the company's bank statement if the company bears the expenses
  8. Travel medical insurance of at least 30,000 €
  9. Preliminary flight and hotel booking
  10. Proof of business relationship (contracts, invoices, correspondence) or registration for the exhibition/conference, if applicable
  11. Copy of national ID card
  12. Proof of funds of 70€ per day of stay (30€ per day if there is a documented guarantee letter from a Croatian company)
  13. Original guarantee letter from the Croatian company with proof of its solvency, or an invitation from a Croatian government body
  14. Travel insurance covering COVID-19

How to apply from Egypt

  1. Complete the application on the Croatian visa portal, print it and sign it (with the application number and PIN)
  2. Pay the visa fee of 90€ in euros at the designated bank before the appointment and bring the original stamped receipt
  3. Book an appointment at the VFS Global Croatia visa centre in Cairo
  4. Attend in person for fingerprinting, submit your file and pay the VFS service fee (EGP 2,075)
  5. Track your application and collect your passport
