Documents required
- Passport valid for at least 3 months after the return date, with two blank pages, together with old passports and previous visas
- Signed visa application form
- Two recent 35×45 mm photos with white background
- Invitation letter from the host company in the Schengen country (purpose, dates, and who bears the costs), with the company's registration details
- Letter from the Egyptian employer (job title, salary, purpose of the mission, approval to travel) on company letterhead and stamped
- Commercial register and tax card of the Egyptian company (translated)
- Personal bank statement for the last 6 months, stamped, plus the company's bank statement if the company bears the expenses
- Travel medical insurance of at least 30,000 euros
- Preliminary flight and hotel booking
- Documents proving the business relationship (contracts, invoices, correspondence) or exhibition/conference registration, if applicable
- Copy of the national ID card
How to apply from Egypt
- Prepare documents according to the checklist of the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs (finlandvisa.fi/checklist)
- Book an appointment at the VFS Global centre for Finland in Cairo (visa.vfsglobal.com/egy/en/fin)
- Attend in person to provide fingerprints, submit the file, and pay the visa fee (€90 ≈ 5,000 EGP) and service fee (1,098 EGP)
- Track the application and collect the passport
