Documents required
- Passport valid for at least 3 months after return, with two blank pages, plus any old passports and previous visas
- Signed visa application form
- One or two recent 35×45 mm photos with a white background (photos can be taken at the centre for a fee)
- Invitation letter from the host company in a Schengen country (purpose, dates, and who bears the costs), along with the company's registration details
- Letter from the Egyptian employer (job title, salary, purpose of the mission, approval of travel) on company letterhead and stamped
- Commercial register and tax card of the Egyptian company (translated)
- Personal bank statement for the last 6 months, stamped, plus the company's bank statement if the company covers the expenses
- Travel medical insurance of at least 30,000 euros
- Preliminary flight and hotel booking
- Documents proving the business relationship (contracts, invoices, correspondence) or exhibition/conference registration, if applicable
- Copy of National ID card
- Register the application and complete the form online on France-Visas, and print the receipt before the appointment
- Movement certificate from the Mogamaa (Tahrir Complex) (if no previous Schengen visas) — not confirmed for France
How to apply from Egypt
- Prepare documents and review the invitation letter
- Create the application on france-visas.gouv.fr and select the submission centre in Egypt
