Documents required
- Original passport valid for at least 6 months with blank pages, plus a copy of the data page
- Recent colour passport photo, 48×33 mm, light background, no head covering
- Visa application form completed online (Visa in Quick Access), with the application receipt
- Invitation letter from the Chinese business partner (or a trade fair invitation) stating the applicant's details, purpose, arrival and departure dates, places to visit, the relationship, and who bears the expenses, plus the inviting party's details, stamped and signed by its legal representative
- Copy of the business licence of the inviting Chinese company
- Business activity documents (in English and Chinese)
- Employment certificate or letter from the employer
- Bank statement
- Copies of previous Chinese visas, if any
How to apply from Egypt
- Complete the form online on the Chinese Visa Application Center website
- Submit the file at the China Visa Application Service Center (CVASC): 2nd floor, 6 El-Zeraa St., Dokki, Giza (submission 9:00–12:00, Sunday–Thursday)
- Pay the visa fee and the centre's service fee
- Collect the passport from 13:00 to 16:00
